Whether it’s through Breathwork or Personal Training, Pacific Pulse Fitness & Wellness offers a path toward desired change in the domains of your choosing—body, mind, heart, or spirit

Max Szredni is a Vancouver-based Certified Personal Trainer and Breathwork Facilitator. A fitness enthusiast since the age of 15, he founded Pacific Pulse Fitness & Wellness in 2020, shortly after receiving his personal training certification. Due to pandemic restrictions, he could only work out of a park at the time. It was trial by fire, and he quickly learned how to remain adaptable in adverse circumstances, relying on his passion for his craft to keep himself and clients going in a world that had stopped.

Later, after restrictions lifted and the world re-opened, he harnessed this same passion to begin educating himself more deeply on the nuances of the human mind, body, and spirit. He noted, both in his own life and in the lives of his clients, how integrated the physical and metaphysical were; how profoundly one’s internal perspective influenced one’s external reality; and how challenging it could be for individuals to make lasting changes in either domain if they lacked an awareness of this mind-body connection.

To better understand this internal-external relationship and how he could better be of service to clients in enhancing their senses of wellbeing, he delved into yoga (eventually becoming a Certified Yoga Teacher) and explored literature on spirituality, religion, psychology, and philosophy. He also earned credentials as a Health Coach and accrued specialist certificates in Sport Performance, Senior Fitness, Functional Training, Corrective Exercise, Yin Yoga, and Chair Yoga.

Eventually his self-education/exploration lead him to Conscious Connected Breathwork, and his world changed forever. Every session expanded his awareness of himself and the universe in which he was enmeshed. He saw the ripple effect of trauma on individual and collective consciousness, and how one could go about healing their holistic beings by practicing forgiveness, trust, honesty, and authentic expression. After a year of exploring breathwork as a client, he felt ready to pay forward its gift by becoming a facilitator and offering it as a service to clients.

In his spare time, Max likes to hike, paddleboard, read, play guitar, write poetry, pet whatever dogs wander his way, and ponder life by the ocean.
